Phoenix Mercury set to face Las Vegas Aces in WNBA Finals
The Phoenix Mercury will face the Las Vegas Aces in the WNBA Finals with Game 1 starting on Friday.

The Phoenix Mercury will face the Las Vegas Aces in the 2025 WNBA Finals.
Game 1 will be on Friday in Las Vegas starting at 5 p.m. MST.
The Aces advanced to the finals after beating the Indiana Fever 107-98 in overtime in Game 5 of the WNBA semifinals on Tuesday. The Mercury clinched a finals appearance with a 86-81 win against the Minnesota Lynx in the other semifinals series on Sunday.
For the first time in WNBA history, the finals will follow a best-of-seven series. Game 2 will be at noon on Sunday. The series will then head to Phoenix for games 3 and 4 on Oct. 8 and Oct. 10, respectively.
If necessary, Game 5 will be back in Las Vegas on Oct. 12. Game 6 would be back in Phoenix on Oct. 15 and Game 7 would be in Las Vegas on Oct. 17.
Phoenix Mercury, Las Vegas Aces finals history
The Mercury have previously made the finals five times in its history with three championships (2007, 2009, 2014). Phoenix last made the finals in 2021, losing to the Chicago Sky in four games.
The Aces have previously made four finals in its history with two championships (2022, 2023). The Aces last made the finals in 2023, beating the New York Liberty in four games.

Great run by the Mercury. Too bad it’s over. Was hoping for Indiana but the Aces are a horrible match up for Phx. Likely looking at a sweep by LV
