Coyotes’ prospect Christian Dvorak makes final roster for USA Evaluation Camp

USA Hockey announced the final roster on Tuesday for their National Junior Evaluation camp, which features Arizona Coyotes prospect Christian Dvorak.
The camp started on August 1st with 39 players that were split onto a “Blue” team and a “White” team, with the two squads practicing and playing games against Finland and Sweden. There will now be 32 players moving forward on one team for the final four days of the camp.
Dvorak, one of four Coyotes prospects invited to the camp which was the most among any NHL team, was the only one of the group to make the final 32-man roster.
The Coyotes second round pick from the 2014 Draft notched 109 points (41 goals, 68 assists) in 66 games with London Knights of the OHL last season, the same team as fellow prospect Max Domi.
He is considered to have a decent shot at making the NHL team for this upcoming season.
Dvorak is auditioning for a possible spot on the United States National Junior Team that will take part in the 2015 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship, Dec. 26, 2015-Jan.5, 2016 in Helsinki, Finland.
Players selected for the team will take part in a pre-tournament camp in December to be held in Boston.
Other notable players that made the final roster of the U.S. Evaluation Camp are Matthew Tkachuk, son of former Coyotes Captain Keith Tkachuk and Scottsdale native Auston Matthews, the projected number one overall pick in next year’s draft.
