After a disappointing 2014-15 season that saw them win only 39 games and miss the playoffs for the fifth straight season, the Phoenix Suns once again own a first-round draft pick near the bottom of the lottery.
The Suns own the the 13th overall selection in the NBA Draft, which takes place June 25 in Brooklyn.
It is the fourth time in history and third time in the last five years that the Suns own the 13th pick. Phoenix chose point guard Kendall Marshall out of North Carolina in that slot in 2012 and forward Markieff Morris out of Kansas the year before that.
The first time the Suns selected 13th, in 1984, they took Colorado point guard Jay Humphries.
