The Arizona Diamondbacks have traded pitcher Eury De La Rosa to the Oakland Athletics in exchange for cash considerations.
The left-handed pitcher was designated for assignment last week after the D-backs acquired pitchers Rubby De La Rosa and Allen Webster from the Boston Red Sox in exchange for pitcher Wade Miley.
De La Rosa, 24, appeared in 25 games for the D-backs last season, posting a 2-0 record with a 2.95 ERA. He struck out 32 in 36.2 innings pitched, while walking 14.
