Arizona Coyotes sign defenseman Alex Grant to a one-year deal

Defenseman Alex Grant has signed a one-year two-way deal with the Arizona Coyotes according to a press release from the team.
The 26-year-old Grant has played five seasons in the AHL. Last season for the Binghamton Senators (AHL) he had 6 goals and 27 assists with 57 penalty minutes.
The 6-foot-4, 205-pound defenseman has played two career games in the NHL with the Anaheim Ducks.
Grant was a fourth round selection in the 2007 NHL Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins.
