The Phoenix Coyotes will host Winnipeg in their 2011 home opener.

After there was much talk about the Coyotes being relocated to Winnipeg at the end of last season, the team will play their first home game against the new franchise.

The Coyotes will play their first three games of next season on the road before their home opener on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 4 p.m.

Of the 41 home games that will be played at jobing.com arena, the Coyotes will play 12 games against their Pacific Division Rivals Anaheim, Dallas, Los Angeles and San Jose.

The longest home stand of the season will be six games while the longest road trip of the season is five games.

Five of the last eight games will be at Jobing.com Arena for the Coyotes. Last year they excelled at home finishing with a 21-13-7 record.
