Mike D’Antoni gets roasted after another series loss to Gregg Popovich and the Spurs

Mike D’Antoni is 32-38 in his playoff career. Against the Spurs and coach Gregg Popovich? 6-20.
This time as coach of the Houston Rockets and not the Phoenix Suns, this time not mustachioed, it didn’t end much differently for D’Antoni.

As star James Harden played with his eyes seemingly glazed over — he scored just 10 points and had the worst plus-minus of any game this season — D’Antoni watched as this story played itself out once again.
San Antonio, without starting point guard Tony Parker and MVP candidate Kawhi Leonard, pulled away in the second quarter and stretched out the lead to make it an agonizingly long loss for Houston.
The final score: 114-75.
It was D’Antoni’s fifth series loss in his career to the Spurs in as many tries.
The internet, a place not known to react with sympathy to such things, certainly noticed.
What follows is a collection of those not-so-kind comments about the Rockets’ embarrassing defeat.
