You can put Marcin Gortat in the same category as Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant. No, not as one of the greatest players in the game — although he is the greatest Polish basketball player — but rather as a player who has turned to Hakeem Olajuwon for help with his low post moves.
Gortat, according to his Twitter account, will be in Houston this week to train with the hall of famer.

We hope that something new is the ‘Dream Shake’ although we’re not sure about nickname the ‘Polish Hammer Shake’. That said, you’ve got to like Gortat’s dedication to improving his game. Learning from Olajuwon can do nothing but help improve the center’s low post game.
While Gortat may never be on the level of Dwight Howard or Kobe Bryant, it’s nice to know that he shares a similar thought process as them.
