The Arizona State Sun Devils will have a blackout on Saturday night in the team’s first big test of the Herm Edwards era.
ASU’s Twitter account revealed the uniforms on Tuesday for the home game against No. 15 Michigan State with starting quarterback Manny Wilkins getting the honors to don them before the game.

Like the maroon home uniforms worn against UTSA, the black jerseys feature the Arizona state flag accents on the front above the number and a gold finish on the numbers, Pac-12 and Adidas logos and more.
For the black helmet, the Sun Devil pitchfork is black, highlighted by gold with the slight detail of a maroon finish on the ends of the outline.
A win against the Spartans would mark ASU’s fourth victory over a nationally ranked opponent in Tempe for a blackout, with the most recent of which coming against then-No. 5 ranked Washington last season.
ASU’s clash with Michigan State is at 7:45 p.m. Saturday night on ESPN 620 AM and will be televised on ESPN.
