The Arizona Cardinals will be without starting guard Mike Iupati for the second time in three games as they take on the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.
Iupati (back) was a limited participant all week in practice and is one of seven in actives for the Cardinals, who come into the game as 16.5 point underdogs.
Wide receiver Chad Williams (ankle) and defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche (calf) were ruled out for the game on Friday.
The other inactives include WR Kendall Wright, S Eddie Pleasant, OL Zack Golditch and OL Colby Gossett.
Safety Budda Baker (foot) made his first appearance on the injury report missing Thursday’s practice. He returned to the team on Friday as a limited participant and will be suited up to play for Arizona.
Baker is an integral part of the Cardinals 4-2-5 base defense but might not see as much playing time as the Cardinals are expected to play more 4-3 to slow down Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt.
Jeremy Vujnovich will start in place of Iupati.
Chiefs receiver Sammy Watkins (foot) was questionable throughout the week and only practiced on Friday as a limited participant. He was listed as inactive for Kansas City along with safety Eric Berry.
Berry (heel) was listed as doubtful on the final injury report on Friday.
The Chiefs were already going to be without center Mitch Morse (concussion) who was deemed out for the game following the final injury report after Friday’s practice.
They also listed OL Kahlil McKenzie, DL Justin Hamilton, DB Josh Shaw and LB Frank Zombo as inactive for the game.
