The Phoenix Suns are doing a bit of reshuffling in the backcourt, according to a report.

Yahoo! Sports reporter Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted that the Suns will sign point guard A.J. Price to a 10-day contract and not re-sign point guard Seth Curry, whose short-term contract expires Friday.

Price, a 2009 second-round selection out of Connecticut, began his career with the Indiana Pacers before moving on to Washington, Minnesota and Cleveland, respectively.

He returned to Indiana early into the 2014-15 season and made 10 appearances before being waived in late November.

Price, 28, was claimed off waivers by the Cavaliers and played in 11 games before being released in early January.

In 21 games between Indiana and Cleveland this season, Price put up 2.0 points, 1.2 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 7.9 minutes per contest.

Price’s best campaign was 2012-13 with the Wizards, during which he averaged 7.7 points, 3.6 assists and 2.0 points per game in 57 appearances, including 22 starts.

Curry was signed to a 10-day contract on March 11 to provide Phoenix with backcourt depth after Brandon Knight suffered an ankle injury. The 24-year-old Curry made two appearances for the Suns and recorded two rebounds and one assist while going 0-for-3 from the floor in eight total minutes.
