The Phoenix Suns signed undrafted free agent Norense Odiase to an exhibit 10 contract on Wednesday, according to Texas Tech basketball.

Odiase, 24, is a 6-foot-8 forward and started 37 of 38 games last season for Texas Tech on its way to the national championship game.

The former Red Raider averaged 5.4 points and 4.2 rebounds while only playing 17.4 minutes per game in his senior season.

He also had a career-best 35 blocked shots on the year.

Odiase totaled 626 points, 594 boards and 79 blocks in his tenure at Texas Tech.

He will be joining former Red Raiders teammate Tariq Owens, who signed a one-year deal with the Suns in July.
