Devin Booker ruled out for Suns’ preseason game vs. Spurs

The Phoenix Suns have ruled out guard Devin Booker for Saturday’s preseason matchup against the San Antonio Spurs, head coach Jordan Ott said pregame.

Booker is simply resting, as the team played two road preseason games in the past five days with practices in between.

Forward Miles Bridges was also ruled out, as the team wants to be cautious with him after he tweaked his ankle in Wednesday’s game against the Chicago Bulls. His injury is not believed to be serious.

Booker has been struggling so far during the preseason, shooting 8.3% on 3-pointers and 33.3% from the field. He played 23 minutes in the Suns’ loss to the Bulls, scoring 11 points on 3-for-14 shooting (0-for-8 from three).

Suns-Spurs tips off at 7:30 p.m. MST. Listen to the game on 98.7 and the Arizona Sports app. The game can be seen on ESPN2.
