Trivia: Name players from local sports teams’ most recent seasons

It’s been a while since we’ve had sports.

The coronavirus pandemic has caused sports to shut down, and for some of us, this is the longest we’ve gone in years without watching a sporting event. So, how good is your memory?

We’ve created a trivia game in which you have to name as many local athletes as you can, but the catch is that it’s from each team’s most recent season. For the Coyotes and Suns, that was mere months ago. For the Diamondbacks and Cardinals, that was last year.

That means players like Madison Bumgarner and DeAndre Hopkins are not correct answers.

Every player who appeared on the field, court or ice at least one time during the most recent season is on this quiz, so every team has more correct answers on the quiz than what their roster limit dictates.

This only includes the “big four” local professional teams: the Cardinals, Coyotes, Diamondbacks and Suns.
