Kyler Murray let the video evidence speak for his game over the weekend when he tagged the Phoenix Suns on a video of himself during a mid-range heater.

“Whenever y’all are ready …” the Arizona Cardinals quarterback wrote as a caption.

Indeed, the Suns already have a couple mid-range professionals in Devin Booker and Chris Paul, but the latter on Monday said, after watching the video of Murray, that he was open to the Arizona Cardinals quarterback joining the Suns — only if Paul can get in some quarterback reps with the Valley’s NFL franchise.

“I did see it. They gone let him come play here, they let me go play quarterback,” Paul said during shootaround on Monday before Phoenix hosts the Houston Rockets.

That leads to the question of if Paul, who indeed acts as a signal-caller on the hardwood, has a capable arm.

He did not answer that question directly, though he did note he’s got a little bit of experience playing quarterback.

“I played quarterback in high school,” Paul said. “I don’t know. Definitely could use some fine-tuning.”
