Arizona Diamondbacks trade LHP Joe Saunders to Baltimore Orioles

The Arizona Diamondbacks traded veteran left-hander Joe Saunders to the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for right-hander Matt Lindstrom and either a player to be named later or cash considerations Sunday.
Last night it was reported the D-backs had found a trade partner for Saunders after he had cleared waivers.
The southpaw wasn’t surprised when the deal became official.
“They called me into the office [Friday] night and said ‘You’ve been traded but we can’t tell you who,'” Saunders said.
