The Phoenix Suns on Tuesday signed free agent wing Chandler Hutchison. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

He was released by the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday. In August, he was moved from Washington to San Antonio in a five-team deal that included Russell Westbrook heading from the Wizards to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Hutchison was a 2018 first-round pick by the Chicago Bulls (22nd overall) out of Boise State.

He has 97 games of experience and 25 starts in his NBA career. Last year, splitting 25 games between the Bulls and Washington Wizards, Hutchison averaged 4.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game.

Hutchison is a career 44% shooter who has hit 31% from three-point range.

A 6-foot-6, 210-pound wing, Hutchison’s draft stock rose in his last two college seasons.

He averaged 20.0 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists his senior year with Boise State, where his efficiency and smarts stood out — he shot 48% from the field on 14 shots and got to the free-throw line 7.2 times per game.

Hutchison joins a wing group that already includes Devin Booker, Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson and Abdel Nader.

He’s among a small group of new Suns players on the roster as Phoenix reloads following an NBA Finals appearance in 2020-21. The Suns also traded for shooter Landry Shamet, signed center JaVale McGee and inked point guard Elfrid Payton in addition to bringing back Chris Paul, Cam Payne and Frank Kaminsky.
