When the Arizona Cardinals face the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football, they’ll be doing so with some new dad strength on their sideline.
On Saturday, safety Budda Baker and his girlfriend welcomed their baby girl into the world.

The Cardinals have been closely following the status of ‘Baby Budda’. Following the Cardinals’ Week 13 win in Chicago, Baker revealed he traveled privately to the game with owner Michael Bidwill, where they were prepared to turn the plane around midflight in the event the baby was on the way.
Fortunately for the Cardinals and Baker, there should be no worry for his status Monday night against the Rams with his baby girl arriving Saturday.
Now a father, Baker will look to employ the phenomenon of dad strength to his game.
Among the leaders of the Cardinals’ defense, Baker has 69 total tackles on the year, as well as three interceptions.
Now a new dad, the hope is the safety can take his play to another level.
