The Arizona State men’s basketball team has rescheduled two games that were postponed due to COVID-19, the school announced Wednesday.

After Thursday’s originally scheduled contest was postponed because of the virus within the Sun Devils’ program, ASU will now be tipping off against the Utah Utes at Desert Financial Arena on Monday at 2 p.m.

Additionally, Arizona State will make up the Dec. 30 postponement due to COVID-19 within the USC Trojans’ program.

That contest will be played on Jan. 24 at 9 p.m. while ASU is already in California to take on the Stanford Cardinal in Palo Alto two days earlier.

The Arizona Wildcats men’s basketball team also had their road matchup with the UCLA Bruins rescheduled for Jan. 25 at 9 p.m., the school announced on Wednesday.

That contest was postponed on Dec. 30 due to COVID-19 within the Bruins’ program.

It’s been a long hiatus for the Sun Devils and head coach Bobby Hurley this season, as the team has seen six of its last seven games either postponed or canceled.

ASU’s home matchup on Dec. 21 against San Francisco was called off after power outages within the Arizona State athletic facilities caused the women’s basketball team to move their game earlier that day out of DFA while the men’s game was canceled and won’t be rescheduled.

The other five were all postponements vs. Pac-12 competition, including a Los Angeles road trip against No. 3 UCLA and No. 5 USC in addition to the first matchup with in-state rival No. 6 Arizona.

Arizona State has only played once since Dec. 19 — a 74-50 road loss to Cal — and hasn’t won a game since Dec. 14’s impressive 58-57 victory over Creighton in Omaha.

The Sun Devils’ next scheduled game is at home on Saturday against Colorado at 8 p.m.
