Arizona football moves up in College Football Playoff Top 25 following Territorial Cup win
Arizona football moved up in the newly revealed College Football Playoff rankings on Tuesday.

Arizona football moved up to No. 18 in the newly revealed College Football Playoff rankings on Tuesday.
Arizona (9-3, 6-3 Big 12) appeared at No. 25 before their 23-7 win against Arizona State in the Territorial Cup on Friday.
Arizona State (8-4, 6-3 Big 12) were out of the latest rankings after appearing at No. 20 last week.
Three Big 12 teams were ranked ahead of Arizona: No. 4 Texas Tech, No. 11 BYU and No. 15 Utah. Texas Tech and BYU will face each other in the Big 12 Championship game on Saturday.
Arizona and Arizona State will now wait to see which bowl games they will play in. Bowl game announcements will be made on Dec. 7.

Given the (bleep) show that the Wildcats were last season, it'll be interesting to see IF they can win their bowl game, get to 10, and see where they end the year in the polls. Two seasons ago, they beat Oklahoma in the Alamo Bowl, and finished #11 . . . Then the wheels fell off. Congrats to Coach B. for the turn around.
I doubt anyone in Phx would have seen this as the AZ school in the top 25 this late in the season. Great job UA
