The Emirates NBA Cup 2026 group draw results were revealed Tuesday, and the Phoenix Suns are in West A.

The Suns will be joined by the Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks and Utah Jazz.

Phoenix will have Utah in its group for a fourth consecutive season, but the other three teams are new, and it will be the first time since the NBA Cup’s inception that the Suns won’t face the Oklahoma City Thunder in group play.

The Suns went 3-1 during the group stage in the 2025 NBA Cup before falling to the Thunder in the quarterfinals, which was also their lone group stage defeat.

Phoenix has not advanced past the quarterfinals of the NBA Cup since it debuted in 2023.

NBA Cup 2026 will tip off Oct. 30, and the championship game will be on Dec. 11.
