There’s nothing like a good hype video to get fired up for the upcoming rivalry match between the U.S. and Mexico soccer teams, especially with the narrator being an Arizona sports legend.
With U.S-Mexico facing off Saturday night in a friendly matchup at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, U.S. Soccer released a video titled “The Duel in the Desert” that has Arizona Cardinals legend and 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Larry Fitzgerald, who had many great moments at the stadium, voicing it.

Saturday’s game marks the third of four matchups over an 11-day span in which the U.S. men’s national team is playing on home soil following its appearance in the World Cup this summer. The U.S. won its first two games against Peru and Chile on Sept. 26 and Sept. 29, respectively. The U.S. will wrap up play against Canada in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Tuesday.
In 79 meetings between the men’s senior national teams, Mexico leads the all-time series 38-17-24. Mexico won the last game against the U.S. 2-1 in the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup final.
U.S.-Mexico kicks off at 7 p.m. MST. The game can be seen on TNT, HBO Max, Telemundo, Universo and Peacock.
