Marvin Harrison Jr. is ‘paying no mind’ to all that trade talk
Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. remains focused on prepping for the Detroit Lions and helping turn things around for Arizona.

TEMPE — Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has been a hot topic nationally early on this regular season.
And not in a good way.
Given Harrison’s low production four games in and the optics surrounding his role in Mike LaFleur’s offense, executives from around the league are reportedly wondering just how available the 2024 No. 4 overall pick could be in a potential trade.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano have all reported as much. Harrison, however, isn’t focused on all that.

“Truthfully, I pay it no mind,” Harrison said Thursday. “I’m only focused on Detroit and helping the Cardinals win football games at the moment.
“Any rumors you’re talking about, I’m not really worried about them.”
Harrison enters Week 5’s game against the Detroit Lions sitting fifth on the team in targets with 12. He’s caught five of those throws for 85 yards and a touchdown.
Inconsistency continues to be the main culprit for Harrison, who still only has just two 100-yard games under his belt at the NFL level.
With the offense running mainly through tight end Trey McBride, wide receiver Michael Wilson and the run game, Harrison has been left to pick up the scraps.
Pair all that with two prior seasons of failing to meet expectations, and it makes sense why Harrison’s name is attached to early season trade rumors.
And with every week or poor production, that noise is only going to grow.
