Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Wilson told reporters after a stunning 33-30 comeback win against the Dallas Cowboys that he has two broken ribs.

Wilson wore a yellow non-contact jersey at practice each day this week to protect his sore ribs, and he went into the medical tent at the end of the first half in Dallas on Sunday after crashing into the turf while trying to catch an overthrown pass.

The banged-up Wilson finished Sunday’s win with eight catches for 111 yards, including the game-tying touchdown grab in the back of the end zone with six seconds left in regulation.

Quarterback Gardner Minshew II, who replaced benched starter Jacoby Brissett, threw a dime over the defense to Wilson. The receiver got his feet down, tumbled and grabbed onto his midsection while grimacing before being helped up.

When the game went to overtime, Wilson was back on the field. He told reporters Theo Mackie from AZCentral.com and Josh Weinfuss of ESPN that he was dealing with a lot of pain but mustered the strength to keep pushing.

The Cardinals dealt with an absurd number of injuries on offense during Sunday’s game.

Running backs Jeremiyah Love and Bam Knight went down in the first half and did not return. Wide receiver Kendrick Bourne suffered an ankle sprain before halftime, and fellow receiver Reggie Virgil was carted to the locker room after smashing into the base of the goal post in the fourth quarter. Left tackle Jayden Williams left the game with a knee injury.

Tyler Allgeier was the last running back standing in the second half, and Wilson was one of three wide receivers available to make plays at the end of the game.
