The success of the 13-3 Arizona Cardinals has made a large impact across the state of Arizona and that’s never been clearer than when looking at the local television ratings for the year 2015.

The top 15 spots in terms of ratings for any TV program since Labor Day were all Cardinals games.

The domination of the National Football League in general was also showcased in those ratings, with 48 of the top 50 spots being NFL games. The only two programs to make that top 50 spot were the September 16 GOP Debate from California and the December 15 GOP debate from Nevada.

The Cardinals ended the regular season averaging 490,000 households watching their games. That narrowly misses out on the team record set by the 2014 team, which had their games viewed in an average of 504,000 households.

Arizona’s Week 16 victory over the Green Bay Packers ranked 20th in the national standings, with 27.5 million viewers across the nation.

The NFL’s reign on these view rankings didn’t stop in Arizona either, with 21 of the 25 most-watched sporting events of the year were NFL games.
