Cardinals-Jaguars injury report: WR DeAndre Hopkins a gametime decision
DeAndre Hopkins is listed as a gametime decision with a rib injury ahead of the Cardinals Week 3 contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
After not practicing all week, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will be a gametime decision on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a ribs injury, head coach Kliff Kingsbury said on Friday.
Fellow wide receiver A.J. Green isn’t too concerned with Hopkins’ status, however.
“Hop don’t miss games,” Green said Thursday. “He’ll be fine.”
Cornerback Byron Murphy returned to practice Friday in a limited fashion after missing Thursday with an ankle issue. Though officially listed as questionable, head coach Kliff Kingsbury said he feels good about the cornerback heading into the weekend.
Offensive linemen Josh Miles (ankle) and Brian Winters (personal reason) have already been ruled out of the Cardinals’ Week 3 contest.
Offensive lineman Kelvin Beachum was a limited participant with a rib injury.
Left guard Justin Pugh (shoulder) was a full participant and cornerback Marco Wilson (ankle) returned to practice in a limited fashion for a second straight day.
Linebacker Devon Kennard (hamstring) was limited for a third time this week.
For the Jaguars, who are hosting Arizona on Sunday, center Brandon Linder was elevated to a full participant in Friday’s practice after being limited the day before.
Starting cornerback C.J. Henderson returned to practice Friday in a limited role after he was absent Thursday. The corner has dealt with an illness and a groin issue this week. He’s questionable for Sunday’s game, as are cornerback Tre Herndon (knee) and defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris (ankle).
