Injury report: Cardinals’ L.J. Collier ruled out while Giants’ Thomas remains questionable

The Arizona Cardinals enter Week 2 searching for their first win of the Jonathan Gannon and Monti Ossenfort era.

After a semi-encouraging loss to the Washington Commanders, the same cannot be said for their opposition this Sunday. The New York Giants were humiliated in primetime by the Dallas Cowboys, 40-0.

The injury report for Sunday’s 1:05 p.m. kickoff is delivering bad news to the Arizona defense.

Cardinals defensive lineman L.J. Collier was officially ruled out of Sunday’s game against New York with a biceps issue on Friday. He finished second in snaps for the season opener at Washington. Linebacker Josh Woods will also not suit up due to an ankle injury. Running back James Conner was a full participant in Friday’s practice.

All-Pro left tackle Andrew Thomas has been limited in practice all week after tweaking his hamstring on Sunday and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s tilt. Most of the Giants who were limited earlier in the week returned to practice on Friday.
