During the All-Star Red Carpet Show ahead of the 2026 All-Star Game in Philadelphia on Tuesday, Los Angeles Angels star outfielder Mike Trout revealed which team his son Beckham cheers for this year: the Arizona Diamondbacks.
In an interview with MLB Network’s Lauren Shehadi, Trout, with his son Beckham next to him, said that when he hit a home run against Arizona during their series in June, Beckham booed him because he was cheering for the Diamondbacks.

The Diamondbacks and Angels faced off in a three-game series from June 15-17 that saw Arizona take two of three against Los Angeles. Despite losing the series, Trout had a strong showing at the plate, registering five hits with two home runs and four RBIs.
The 12-time All-Star started in center field and led off for the American League on Tuesday, going 0-for-3 with a strikeout. Trout grounded out against D-backs lefty Eduardo Rodriguez in the second inning.
The American League defeated the National League 4-0 in the 96th Midsummer Classic. New York Yankees outfielder and Arizona-born Cody Bellinger, who drove in two runs in the first inning, was named MVP.
