D-backs remove Holland from closing role following 5th blown save
Following Friday night's blown save, Arizona Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said that Greg Holland will not be his closer for the time being.

Following his fifth blown save of the season Friday, D-backs manager Torey Lovullo is giving Greg Holland a break.
Lovullo told reporters Sunday that he hopes the demotion is temporary and will allow Holland to get back on a roll.
For the time being, he has not selected a new closer. He plans to use closers on a match up basis.

In the month of July, Holland threw 6.1 innings and allowed 8 hits, 6 runs and compiled a 8.53 ERA.
Prior to the All-Star break, Holland held a 3.3 ERA with 14 saves.
