Arizona State lands JUCO wing Vijay Wallace from Triton College

Arizona State men's basketball on Saturday received a commitment from JUCO wing Vijay Wallace from Triton College.

Arizona State men’s basketball on Saturday received a commitment from JUCO wing Vijay Wallace from Triton College.

The 6-foot-5 wing from Chicago, Illinois took to X on Saturday to announce his commitment to play for ASU.

In 35 games with the Trojans during the 2024-25 season, Wallace averaged 15.9 points (on 48% shooting), 5.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.

St. Bonaventure and New Mexico State were among the other schools interested in Wallace.

Wallace latest addition for Arizona State

Along with Wallace, ASU has added five players this offseason, including wing Marcus Adams Jr., guard Moe Odum and forward Allen David Mukeba.

Wallace joins an ASU roster that has seen much turnaround this offseason. The program has seen 10 players leave in the transfer portal, including centers Jayden Quaintance and Shawn Phillips Jr., power forward Basheer Jihad and guards Adam Miller and Joson Sanon.

The program has also added an incoming class, including four-star freshmen Jaion Pitt and Marcus Jackson.
