Arizona State freshman wing Amier Ali plans to enter the transfer portal, according to ESPN's Jeff Borzello.

Arizona State freshman wing Amier Ali plans to enter the transfer portal, according to ESPN’s Jeff Borzello.
Ali averaged 5.5 points (on 37.2 shooting) and 3.1 rebounds over 32 games for the Sun Devils during the 2024-25 season. He scored a career-high 18 points on 6-of-7 shooting in an overtime loss to Texas Tech on February 12.
The 6-foot-8 wing was a former four-star prospect from Canyon International Academy and held offers from several schools, including Texas, Kentucky and Alabama before committing to ASU.
Ali latest player to enter transfer portal
Ali’s portal entry marks the ninth ASU men’s basketball player to enter the transfer portal.
In addition to Ali’s portal entry, other notable Sun Devils to enter the transfer portal include centers Jayden Quaintance and Shawn Philips Jr., guard Joson Sanon and forward Basheer Jihad.
ASU has added three players in the transfer portal this offseason, including wing Marcus Adams Jr., guard Moe Odum and forward Allen David Mukeba.

I'm so tired of seeing players come in for one year and then leaving via the portal. It's past time Hurley is fired.
Why not can him? What you are saying is that it's better to write off next year, lose ur azzes, then fire him, lose all those guys and rebuild with whatever mid-major minor talent coach that wants to take over that dumpster fire that plays in a used car lot or an arena. Rossini is kicking the can at least 2-3 years down the road. Maybe that's the plan. Suck for 3 years till you can build the next Mullet with Harden money???? Because that appears to be the plan.
