Wide receiver Jordyn Tyson was ruled out on Saturday’s game day Big 12 availability report ahead of facing Iowa State in Ames.
On Monday, Tyson was suggested to be “questionable” before evaluation later in the week, head coach Kenny Dillingham said.
Sun Devils defensive end Prince Dorbah and linebacker Tate Romney were listed as game-time decisions on the final availability report, after being questionable and doubtful, respectively.
Quarterback Sam Leavitt was ruled out earlier in the week, and Xavion Alford and Kyson Brown will join him on the sideline.
Additionally, safety Myles Rowser will be out for the first half due to the targeting penalty in the second half of the Houston loss.

Iowa State has been hit the hardest in the secondary where it’s lost three players for the season, including Jeremiah Cooper and Jontez Williams, who have combined for 13 interceptions over the past three years.
Freshman cornerback Khijohn Cummings-Coleman was among the options to step up as depth, but his season will be lost to injury as well, coach Matt Campbell announced this week.
Running back Abu Sama III was listed as a game-time decision for the Cyclones on Saturday. Sama leads Iowa State with 101 carries and 544 yards on the ground; however, when Carson Hansen made his return from injury last Saturday, Hansen operated as the lead back with Sama in an RB2 role.
Arizona State’s injury luck has been brutal in 2025
Aside from missing Tyson for the postseason, ASU was very lucky when it came to health during its magical 2024 season.
Leavitt, Cam Skattebo and Keyshaun Elliott each missed one game, but the core of the team was relatively healthy the whole way otherwise.
This has been a different type of season, from offensive lineman Ben Coleman and linebacker Zyrus Fiaseu going down for the year to expected difference makers Alford and Brown already missing more than half the season.
Leavitt has played 1.5 of the last three games, and Tyson is on the verge of missing his second straight.

I would argue its my issue with most sports period. The NFL is classic. Do NOT read the standings before Dec1. Its a league of last team standing. Someday an 8-9 team will win the SB if..if.. they get healthy and can peak. Because good "paper" teams are also 1 injury away from total mediocrity.
Why is it every sports team in town has "injury issues"? Poor conditioning? Activities outside of what you do on the field?
The Devils are going to be just fine, and smoke Iowa State . . . Just ask Kyle, he'll tell you all about how awesome things are.
