Pac-12 football schedule release: ASU, Arizona face off on a Friday

The Arizona State Sun Devils will visit the Arizona Wildcats next football season on Friday, Nov. 25, 2022, the Pac-12 announced Thursday in their conference schedule release show.

The rivals last played on a Friday in 2020, when ASU defeated Arizona 70-7 in Tucson.

For the Sun Devils, conference play opens at home against the Utah Utes on Sept. 24. ASU’s bye comes exactly halfway through the year after facing Utah, USC and Washington in Pac-12 action.

Arizona State will miss playing Cal and Oregon next season.

The Wildcats open their conference slate at California on Sept. 24 and have a bye seven games into the season.

Arizona misses Oregon State and Stanford in 2022.

The Pac-12 Championship game is set for Dec. 2, 2022.
