Arizona DB Treydan Stukes taken by Raiders at No. 38 in 2nd round of NFL Draft

Arizona defensive back Treydan Stukes has been selected with the No. 38 pick by the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Stukes is the first Wildcat off the board during the draft. This marks the third-straight year that an Arizona product has been selected in the first three rounds of the draft.

His selection marks the highest draft position for an Arizona defensive back since Antoine Cason was selected No. 27 overall by the San Diego Chargers in 2008.

Stukes’ pre-draft process included a 4.33-second 40-yard dash, 38-inch vertical and a broad jump of 10 feet, 10 inches at the NFL Draft Combine.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound defensive back is coming off a season where he bounced back from a torn ACL in 2024 to earn All-Big 12 First-Team and Third Team All-American honors with 52 total tackles, six pass breakups and four interceptions.

Stukes spent all six seasons of his collegiate career in Tucson, recording 207 total tackles, 26 pass deflections and seven interceptions in 50 games played. The Litchfield Park native started out at Goodyear Millennium Park High School before walking onto the Wildcats’ roster in 2020 and earning a scholarship the following year.

He was viewed this draft cycle as a likely nickel cornerback or safety option despite being listed as a corner at Arizona.
