LB Mack Wilson Sr. released the Cardinals’ 2025 schedule in song form

The NFL schedule release has become an arms race for the league’s in-house social media teams. This year, it looks like the Arizona Cardinals have enlisted linebacker Mack Wilson Sr. to make it a smash hit. Like, literally, with music.

Wolf & Luke received an anonymous package at the Arizona Sports office on Wednesday before the full NFL schedule dropped.

It came with a note:

“Our very own Mack Wilson Sr. (aka Rocketship) has penned a music track about the upcoming season that’ll drop on Apple Music and Spotify. Check out our social channels tonight to see the music video, single and full schedule release,” part of a letter read.

“Check out the sound ’18 Bars’ on TikTok’s audio library and get the latest trend started.”

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport had alluded to Arizona going a unique direction with its schedule release earlier this week when he joined The Pat McAfee Show.

“I just got a text on this topic from a pretty good source. Hearing Cardinals digital team has a banger of a schedule release this year,” Rapoport said.

Good Morning Football‘s Kyle Brandt also caught wind of something brewing in the desert.

“I’ll give you a team that I’m going to call right now that I think is going to be a player in this thing that we’re going to be talking about tomorrow,” he said. “Watch out for the Cardinals. I might know some things, I might not know some things, I might just have a gut feeling that the Arizona Cardinals are going to hit us with a good video — maybe best video.”
