Sounds like Budda Baker is ready for the Jacoby Brissett contract saga to end

Cryptic offseason tweets can sometimes be hard to decipher.
But when it comes to deducing Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker’s social media post on Thursday, most are coming to the same conclusion:
It centers on Jacoby Brissett’s ongoing contract dispute with the franchise.
“Just want bro to get his (expletive) done,” Baker said on X. “He is not asking for what you think. Bro is asking for below the bare minimum. Let’s just get it done!!!”
Brissett, who is expected to be Arizona’s Week 1 starter, and the team remain in a stalemate after it was reported that he wanted to be paid as a starter earlier in the offseason.
The veteran quarterback’s current contract carries a base salary of $4.9 million but with just $1.5 million guaranteed, according to OverTheCap. He’s making less this year than Gardner Minshew II ($5.6 million), who was reportedly brought in to back up Brissett.
With no new deal in place, Brissett skipped all of Arizona’s voluntary offseason work before holding in during the Cardinals’ mandatory minicamp.
Despite staying away from the team until minicamp, Brissett still managed to get work in with multiple Cardinals playmakers this past week in south Florida.
If Baker is in fact talking about the Brissett situation, he’s not alone in backing the veteran’s desire to get something done.
Tight end Trey McBride, wide receivers Michael Wilson and Marvin Harrison Jr. and offensive lineman Paris Johnson Jr. have been among those who have publicly backed Brissett as he postures for a new deal.

give him the 8 they signed Minshew for, that's fair. Then give him a milly for each W. Make that man earn his money.vThey only got like 16 mil all in for the position, lowest in the league I'm sure. Or just cut him, Cards aren't winning 5 games with or without him.

At this point, it seems that the Cardinals decision makers aren't sure who they plan on starting. If they knew for sure that it's going to be Brissett, then they'd already have the deal done to get the team all on the same page. I've got to guess that they're going to hold out and force Brissett to play for less dough and goof around with different starters. If it were up to me, I'd pick Brissett to start in a heart beat. He's the best they've got. After years of second guessing what's his name, the old quarterback, the Cardinals seem to be very wishy washing about most everything, except cheap beer cups in the stadium.
