D-backs release ‘Our Season’ hype video and it’s fantastic

While you may not think the Arizona Diamondbacks are destined to have a great 2017 season, there is no denying the optimism that comes with Opening Day.
Add in the D-backs’ wild walk-off victory over the San Francisco Giants in Game 1, and it’s hard not to be feeling pretty good about the team right now.
But before Zack Greinke ever threw out the pitch that opened the season and long before Chris Owings’ single sent the D-backs to victory, the team released a video, titled “Our Season,” which no doubt gave every fan of the team chills.
Narrated by Roger Clyne (of “the Peacemakers” fame), you are taken through the team’s history — featuring the good and the bad — with the underlying theme being that only the strongest survive in the desert, where the D-backs play.
If you have not had a chance to watch the video, make sure you do. And if you have already seen it, watch it again. And again, and again, and again.
It’s that good and, after all, baseball is back. And who knows, this could be the D-backs’ season after all.
