Trivia Tuesday: Baseball’s no-hitters since 2000

The no-hitter.
The baseball rarity in which a pitcher (or pitchers) holds an opponent without a base hit for nine innings.
Except, it’s not really that rare. There has been 48 no-hitters in Major League Baseball since 2000. Three of them were completed by combinations of pitchers. On June 11, 2003, six members of the Houston Astros pitching staff (none who pitched more than 2.2 innings) completed a no-no in an 8-0 win over the New York Yankees. In 2012, six Seattle Mariners teamed up on a no-hitter over the Los Angeles Dodgers in a 1-0 win. And in 2014, four Philadelphia Phillies pitchers blanked the Atlanta Braves 7-0 and held them hitless for a whole game.
We’re not worried about those three.
What we are worried about this Trivia Tuesday is the 45 complete-game no-hitters thrown by one pitcher since the turn of the millennium. Here’s a hint: seven pitchers have thrown two no-hitters in the time span we’re looking for.
To help you out, we’ve provided you with the year, the team the pitcher threw the no-no for and what team they did it against. You’ve got eight minutes on the clock. Good luck!
