ESPN insider: ‘Kolb worth three wins for Arizona’

PHOENIX – The Arizona Cardinals are about to kick off their 2011 regular season next Sunday against the Carolina Panthers looking to erase the memory of last season.
One ESPN insider believes the front office has made the necessary move to correct the major problems they had last season.
“One of the best moves of any move this offseason was the acquisition of Kevin Kolb.”
“It still comes down to the quarterback play, that’s where Arizona will be good. I think it’s worth at least three wins for this team,” said John Clayton on the Arizona Sports 620’s Doug and Wolf show on Friday.
The analyst likes what he’s seen from Kolb during the preseason in a Cardinals uniform.
“He’s an accurate quarterback. He’s throwing better than he ever has. He already gets it with Larry Fitzgerald.”
“He can put points on the board,” said Clayton.
It’s exciting to hear such high praise on Kolb from someone so respected in the business.
Now Kolb just has to go out and back up all the expectations.
