Budda Baker, the second-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals, is a confident guy.
Thursday, before throwing out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Seattle Mariners-Oakland Athletics game at Safeco Field, he made a bold social media prediction.
Watch this 70 mph ball I’m about to throw at this mariners game! #FirstPitch

We don’t know if there was a radar gun on Baker’s first pitch, but let’s just say it had a little pop and pretty good location.
Baker fared much better with his pitch than another recent Valley draft pick. We’re looking at you, Josh Jackson.
