NL Wild Card tracker: D-backs await Wild Card opponent
The NL Wild Card standings reflect the battle atop the National League West between the Diamondbacks and Rockies. The Brewers and Cardinals give chase.
In case you haven’t heard, the Arizona Diamondbacks will host the 2017 National League Wild Card game on Oct. 4.
Their playoff clinch on Sept. 24 was followed soon after by a walk-off win over the Marlins, clinching home field advantage in the one-game playoff round. They just need to find out who they’ll play.
The Colorado Rockies and Milwaukee Brewers are still vying for that second Wild Card spot; One of those two teams will visit Chase Field and play the D-backs for the chance to advance to the National League Divison Series.
