NCAA Championship Recap:
And then there was one.
In one of the better NCAA championship games in recent memory, Rick Pitino and the Louisville Cardinals outlasted the Michigan Wolverines 82-76 to win the first title in school history since 1986.
Pitino also became the first coach in NCAA history to lead two different schools (Kentucky and Louisville) to national titles.
While Michigan got the best of Arizona Sports 620’s Jon Bloom over the weekend, the Syracuse alum had the last laugh Monday night. With the Cardinals’ victory, Bloom clinched a one-point win (194-193) over Arizona Sports 620’s Adam Green in the Bracket Beatdown.
Along with Bloom and Green, Jim Cross, John Gambadoro, Joe Huizenga, Katy Hartley and Vince Marotta all had Louisville winning the title.
So, congrats to those seven!
In the battle between shows on Arizona Sports 620, Burns and Gambo had their way with Doug and Wolf this March and went on to win convincingly, 300-182.
