1) A-ROD
We already know you’re a disgrace to the game; we’ve now learned you’re a disgrace to your teammates. Even as low of a human being as you have proven to be, don’t do this to the last year of Mariano Rivera. Retire today.
2) CARDINALS
Love the comments of Steve Keim and Bruce Arians after every practice and interview. I love the direction of the franchise right now. I’m focused on two things for the Cards/Cowboys game: O-Line and Tyrann Mathieu.
Daryn Colledge vs. Paul Fanaika. Bobby Massie vs. Eric Winston. Levi Brown vs. Nate Potter. All three battles at the same time while trying to develop chemistry is the number one issue of camp.
I’m not building up Mathieu anymore than he already is. He deserves the pub. This game is different. Mathieu is starting. He’s going against the Cowboys’ ones. This is a great test.
3) RATTLERS
I love the Rattlers. The head coach, Kevin Guy, has been a close friend for over a decade. Nothing says friendship like riding a bus with someone for 10 hours to play an Arena Football game. He’s a great coach and a great friend. The organization has represented our city and state well. Can’t wait to see them bring home another championship.
4) RUSS PENNELL
Couldn’t happen to a nicer man. The Phoenix Mercury have won three straight with Russ at the helm. The Mercury are going for their fourth straight, but their first road win under their new coach. Russ has kept his head up and never lost his morals throughout his coaching tenure. I sense Russ is about ready to lead a run.
