Former Arizona quarterback Nick Foles shined bright on the biggest stage Sunday night.

Helping catapult the Philadelphia Eagles to their first-ever Super Bowl victory with a 41-33 win over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 52, Foles was awarded the game’s MVP honors for his efforts.

In the biggest game of his career, Foles delivered, throwing for 373 yards and three touchdowns — with one interception — on 28-of-43 passing, including the game-winning touchdown to tight end Zach Ertz with 2:21 remaining in the game.

He didn’t just throw the ball either.

In the second quarter, tight end Trey Burton connected with the signal-caller for a one-yard score to put the Eagles up early. Foles became the first quarterback to throw for and catch a touchdown in Super Bowl history. It was his first catch of his career.

At Arizona, Foles threw for 10,011 yards, An Arizona record, and 67 touchdowns in his three-year stint with the Wildcats before going pro. He also holds the single-season record for most passing yards in a season with 4,334.

Congratulations, Foles.
