Suns sign Shaquille Harrison to second 10-day contract

After originally signing Shaquille Harrison to a 10-day contract on Feb. 21, the Phoenix Suns have signed the guard to a second 10-day contract, the team announced on Saturday.
In five games with the Suns, Harrison totaled nine points, 10 rebounds, eight steals and seven assists in 43 minutes of play. Harrison’s eight steals came from two four-steal games, making him the second player in Suns history to record multiple performances of at least four steals through four games. Alvan Adams is the only other player to do so.
In 36 games this season with the Northern Arizona Suns, he averaged 11 points, 3.5 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game while shooting 46 percent overall and 32 percent from three.
The 24-year-old entered training camp with the Suns and played for the team in the Las Vegas Summer League. In three games there, he averaged 10.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals in 22.3 minutes per game.
