Pride, wardrobe on the line for Hill and Frye

It’s no secret that the Phoenix Suns have a rift in their locker room. No, they aren’t fighting over the team’s performance or something that one of them said. The rift has developed between Channing Frye and Grant Hill and it has everything to do with their collegiate ties.
That’s because bragging rights and wardrobes are on the line when Arizona, Frye’s college, and Duke, Hill’s college, meet in the Sweet 16 on Thursday.
“We have to wear the other person’s gear,” Channing Frye, UA alum, explained of the bet between him and former Blue Devil Grant Hill. “So whatever he gives me I got to wear and whatever I give him—that’s what he’s going to wear.”
The two plan to watch the game together at Suns managing partner Robert Sarver’s house. Sarver—as Frye noted is also a Wildcat. “Yeah, we got numbers. Two vs. one.”
Luckily for Hill, he’s been used to getting double teamed by opponents since his days as a Blue Devil.
