Watch Suns’ Danuel House Jr. wow Warriors’ home crowd with dunk

No, that self-pass dunk off the backboard wasn’t Vince Carter.

Gerald Green wasn’t traded back to the Suns since hitting his buzzer-beater on Friday.

It was Danuel House, Jr., playing his 19th game for the Phoenix Suns, who threw down the dunk against the Golden State Warriors in a 117-107 loss.

After stepping back to the elbow and catching Nick Young in the air, House was trapped. Instead of looking for an open teammate, he took a move out of Young’s former teammate Kobe Bryant’s playbook.

Sometimes, the best teammate is yourself.

Even 2017 Defensive Player of the Year Draymond Green backed away from House as he rose up.

The opposing fans couldn’t hold it in. Oracle Arena reacted loudly to House’s display.

It gave the Suns a 40-31 lead over the reigning champs. Phoenix is looking to end its 14-game losing streak and pick up its first victory since February.

House finished with 16 points, six rebounds and three assists.
