Trading Nash is a bad idea for the Phoenix Suns

Not all marriages are meant to last.
However, divorce is an ugly process and sometimes it is easier to suck it up for a little bit than to tolerate an ugly divorce.
Steve Nash may be the face of the franchise, but he is aging and may not be what the Phoenix Suns need for future success.
Then again, Nash is a fan favorite and getting rid of him may be a nightmare for the Suns according to the Arizona Republic.
“From a business perspective, however, there is no debate,” Suns executives told the Arizona Republic. “Trading Nash would be disastrous. This isn’t Green Bay, Pittsburgh or Boston. Irrelevance here is a death sentence.”
While some may argue that the Suns need to rebuild from the ground up, they may not be in a position to.
Rebuilding takes a lot of time and patience and Phoenix fans are often seen as lacking those two things.
Said fans are often maligned for being fair weather fans and a few seasons of mediocrity or worse may be just enough to cost the Suns some fans as Valley basketball fans hop on other, more successful bandwagons.
