Cardinals defense enjoying sack party against 49ers

It was another slow start for the Arizona Cardinals’ offense on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, but not for the defense.
The Cardinals recorded three sacks in the opening quarter against Niners quarterback C.J. Beathard and allowed zero points.

Markus Golden sacked Beathard on third down on the Niners first drive, which forced a punt.
Antoine Bethea and Zach Moore were the beneficiaries of the other sacks.
The Cardinals entered the game against the Niners with 20 sacks this season, which ranked No. 8 in the NFL.
