Goran Dragic was one of the biggest surprises in the NBA this past season.
In his second season since returning to the Phoenix Suns as a free agent, the then-27-year-old averaged 20.3 ppoints, 5.9 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game while nearly leading the team to the postseason.
He earned three fifth-place MVP votes in the process, finishing 16th. He may not have been close to the winner, Kevin Durant, but receiving votes for the first time in his career shows just how far the Slovenian has come since being selected with the 45th pick in the 2008 draft.
